Announcements

Building Project

Our Building Project for the new chapel is underway and going at full speed! Please visit our building project page for more information on the project and how to contribute.

Consecration of Bishops

The Consecration of Bishops was announced for July 1 by Rev. Fr. Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the SSPX. Below are links to information about the upcoming consecrations. Reliable resources for official and accurate communications from the Society of St. Pius X, which provide a proper understanding of the Society’s purpose and mission in the Church, are the official SSPX news website and YouTube channel.

Prayer Crusade for the Consecration of Bishops

The SSPX US District Superior has launched a prayer crusade preceding the episcopal consecrations, accompanied by a letter of instruction. The letter and prayer can be found here.

Pledge Cards

Pledge cards for the building fund are available next to the bulletin board in the overflow room. As we move forward in seeking approval from the SSPX superiors, it is very important that we have a fairly accurate assessment of the monetary support we can expect. Please return the completed card by placing it in the pledge box next to the bulletin board, or mail it to the Treasurer at the address listed on the bottom of the card.

Ladies Afternoon Out

On May 9, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. there will be a Ladies Afternoon Out in the IHM Church basement dining room. Lunch (soups, salad and bread, with tea and coffee) is provided. We’re asking for a few volunteers to bring your favorite desserts to share.

After lunch there will be Bingo with prizes! We are asking for a recommended $5.00 donation to play Bingo with all proceeds going toward the building fund.

Please RSVP by May 7th to debramcginnis@me.com so that we can get a count of participants and please note in the RSVP if you’ll be bringing a dessert. Ladies and babies in arms only.

The schedule for the First Communion Retreat on May 16 is:

  • 8:30 am: Mass
  • 9:30 am: First Communion retreat with the Sisters

The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. and there will be a conference at 6:30, followed by snacks and social activities. Please RSVP by emailing ihmyoungadultsspx@gmail.com so that we can have some idea of numbers.
